F1X's first week in School

F1X children are gradually settling in to their new environment. They have been exploring the different areas in the classroom and choosing activities that they would like to do. At snack times, the children have already tried the new healthy snack offerings from the canteen and they seemed to have enjoyed them. In our carpet sessions, we have started singing some songs such as 'Hello Friends', 'Goodbye Friends', 'Wheels on the bus', 'Baa baa black sheep', 'Twinkle Little Star' and 'Incy Wincy'. On Friday, we were very lucky to do the parachute game as well. The children have also started using the different spaces in EYFS such as the Fundino playground and Soft play room. They all had a fantastic time! All the children did very well on their first week in school. They all deserve a really good rest over the long weekend. Thank you to all the parents for your support in your child's first week in school. Have a lovely long weekend :)

Notices:

Water bottles and hats- Please label your child's water bottle and hat with his/her name using a permamnent   marker.

Shoes- Please make sure that your child wears a pair of sensible shoes to school. See proper uniform photo in Parents Handbook.

Open Evening- On Tuesday 3rd September at 6.30pm, there will be a Parents’ Evening at the TX hall. Ms. Sue will be talking about general matters and then you will be asked to proceed to your child’s classroom for some more class information. This will be a great opportunity for you to know more about your child’s day in school and some housekeeping. Blogger, our Online Learning Journey, will also be introduced to all F1 parents. If you have any, please take your Ipads, tablets or androids with you to so that all of us can access Blogger at the same time.
