Newsletter 28th October 2013

First of all, welcome back from our mid term break. We hope you all had a lovely time with your children.
We started the week by asking the children what they did over the holidays.
At circle time, we used the questions:
-How are you?
-Where did you go?
-What did you do?
The children responded to the questions using one to two words and short phrases.
It was lovely hearing what they have done over the holidays.
This week, we also had our first music session upstairs.
The children walked beautifully going up and had a lovely time with Mr Robbie.
On Friday, we ended our dinosaur theme by watching the story 'Land Before Time'.
We have also started learning about the different transport  and focused on cars and buses this week. Next week, we will be looking at aeroplanes or trucks and the different transport sounds.
Overall, the children did a fantastic job this week! Well done everybody! :)
